We have all been historically affected by migration and each in different ways. With this project I invite people to share their
shoes as statements of where they have been and where they are going thus sharing movement and walking in each
other's footsteps...

Hemos sido históricamente afectados por la migración. Con este proyecto invito a la gente a compartir sus zapatos
como declaraciones de donde ellos han sido y donde ellos van así compartiendo el movimiento y andando en los
pasos de cada uno...

Arriving at Venezuela

Leaving Trinidad & Tobago, from the Pier 1 port in Chaguaramas, Port of Spain

Reaching Venezuela, from port Guiria
The morning after the launch I made the journey to Venezuela by the ferry service from Pier 1. Crossing the waters that separate us watching the sliver of Venezuelan land grow.

While in Venezuela I left the shoes with Eliseo Solís Mora for him to continue the journey and process from Venezuela making this project a collaboration/ inter-country shoe trade.
